Birthday Dinosaur!

Happy Friday Krafters!

Today I would like to share a card I made using my Imagine, Gypsy, Hello Kitty Font and Dino Tracks Cricut Cartridges. It was so easy and fun to make!
First, I printed the patterns from the Imagine More Cricut Cartridge. I love the patterns on that cartridge especially for boy cards! Using my Gypsy, I simply took an image of a dinosaur from the Dinosaur Tracks Cartridge and welded two of them together (shadow feature) on kraft cardstock. Once my pieces were welded together, I took the same layered imagines and made them smaller than the card base. Then I welded the words” happy birthday” from the HK font cartridge where the spikes are. Next, I used the Mosaic Cuttlebug Folder to add a “realistic” texture to the dino. I inked the edges and then assembled the card.
To finish the card off, I added faux stitching around the card and added a cute little button with floss going through it. This card will fit in a standard A2 sized envelope.
Here is the final project. Sorry the picture is SOOO blurry L hopefully you can see it well enough to enjoy J
*NOTE* you cannot weld images on the gypsy using the imagine app as of now so all of the welding was done on the regular app which is why I printed the patterns first.
