Tissue Box With Style-Creative Team Project

Hello Krafters!
It is Krafthead here to share with you a project I made for the Scrappin with Sharon and Smokey Creative Team. The miniature box was originally used for candies. However, since it is cold season, I thought it would be a cute idea to make a tissue box with it instead.  This box fits pocket sized tissues perfectly! I used acetate at the top and cut a slit to access the tissues or you can just lift the top on and off as needed. To embellish it, I used some black lace from my stash and some black flat back pearls.  The flourishes were made using Black Diamond Stickles and the Bazzill Fantasy Flourish Template.
File RM00090 is the flower file which was used to further embellish the box. The flowers were so easy to put together. When getting this file, there is an added bonus….a butterfly! I was so happy when I saw that! So cute!
If you are giving as a gift as a tissue box, I would recommend sealing the box with Mod Podge to strengthen it a bit. Also, use a thick and or sturdy cardstock.
There are so many things that can be done with RM00114! You can make it a cute care package for someone by adding a few tissues and a packet of tea…..or give as favors at a wedding. The sky is truly the limit. RM00090 makes gorgeous 3D flowers!
As always, I appreciate you stopping by! Don't forget to check out Sharon's store regularly. She adds new files often! Hope you enjoyed the project. Take care, Krafthead~
