Store It Mondays-Copic Markers

Happy Monday Krafters!

I decided to start a new series…“Store it Mondays”! I am not sure how long this series will last. However, I am excited to share some of my storage solutions. I hope they will help/inspire at least one person!

My first “Store it Mondays” post is my new Copic Marker storage. Previously, I stored them on a wine rack. While it was a great solution, the markers really wasn't as portable as I would have liked. My new storage solutions was inspired by my crafty friend Renee. Thank you Renee! Some years ago, I purchased a fabric craft bag (I guess that is what it is called). It is great to have for crops or to store items on a desk. Mine just sat there with a few inks in it. I decided to use it to store the markers. It was perfect for the amount of markers I accumulated. Now my markers are in one spot and I can carry them with ease.

I used the bottoms of the clear containers the markers are shipped in to support them in the bag. The containers can be removed as needed, but as of now, I don't see the need. On the outside pockets, I store the Colorless Blender, 100, and Grays. There are more empty pockets left if I decide to purchase more markers in the future. Honestly though, I am content…..for now LOL! Well…I do need more grays….I’m a mess LOL!

While I was upgrading my storage, I decided to label the caps of the markers. As you can see, I have to add labels to some of them. I purchased Ciao markers. Listen, I am the type of person who gets bored easily and I was not going to buy Sketch markers right away without knowing if I was going to stick to coloring. The Ciaos serves their purpose! Anywho, I made the labels in Photoshop. The text is .24” and I punched it out with a hole punch (.25”) and adhered them with a micro glue dot.

Well that is it for the first installment of “Store it Mondays”! I hope you enjoyed today’s project! Thanks for stopping by, Krafthead~
