Happy Birthday to a Lady With Many Titles

Hello Krafters!

Remember a LONG time ago, I started a Ten Minutes Or Less Card series? Well I started it up again. I have to say, a lot can be done in that amount of time! To keep the juices flowing and to actually use the crafty lab, this is going to be my new norm.

Anywho, my pastor asked me to make a card for her and of course things did not run smoothly. She wanted to include the many titles her sister holds. After attempting to create my original idea, I eighty-sixed that idea and came up with this one.

I used the typewriter Spellbinders die. I typed up the titles on the computer with a typewriter font and printed them out. The pattern paper is Basic Grey’s Little Black Dress. I heat embossed the sentiment. I have to say, I really like this white embossing powder by WOW. It is much better than what I had before. I also used some stitched ribbon and added a flower to it. To finish off the card, I added some bling. That’s it!

It took me about 20 minutes to finish the card. But that time included typing and printing :)

Thanks so much for stopping by, Krafthead

  4. Nice card, I've never done heat embossing and that die has been in my cart several times but never made it home with me. I like the time window you use even though it seems to take me longer to do the simpliest of cards. TFS!
