Practical Scrappers-Doilies

Hi Krafters!

It has been so long since I posted a project on my blog. I have been some projects here and there, but not as many as I would like. I will be sharing some of the other projects made in the near future!

Today, I am sharing a project for Practical Scrappers. It is all about doilies. Doilies add that extra elegance to a project. However, they can add texture as well! Don't sleep on the doily!!

For this project, I used G45 Communique and a Cherry Lynn Doily Die. I know you see this die in just about EVERY project I make, but it is my FAVORITE! I cut the doily in quarters and used pieces as wings on the fussy cut image. On the image, I added brass metallic distress stain. It added a distressed look; I am happy with how it turned out. I also used a doily as a background. I used crackle paint to distress it. Finally I added metal embellishments for that extra something!

I hope you enjoyed today's project. Thanks for stopping by, Krafthead~
