Hi Krafters,
Happy Labor Day! I hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend! Today over at the Practical Scrappers' blog, we are honoring Grandparents! Yep, there are some awesome projects showcasing loved one’s whom we adore. I wanted to take a different spin on the Grandparent theme. I decided to make a card J The sentiment reads, “The idea that no one is perfect is a view most commonly held by people with no grandchildren” by Doug Larson. When I saw that sentiment I knew it was perfect for what I had in mind. There is a lot of "play on words" on this one..hehe!
The paper collection is G45’s Communiqué. I wanted this card to have a vintage feel to it. I did some fussy cutting from the collection. I love the stamp of the four little girls. I have four daughters and it just felt right. I stamped it on top of the sentiment which I love how it turned out. I added the doily and rose for a feminine touch. That’s it!!
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Don’t forget to pop over to the Practical Scrappers' blog for more projects and inspiration! Krafthead~
