Today's project is two-fold. Over at Practical Scrappers it
all about making those titles POP! There are some awesome ideas so go check
them out! This is also my project for the Lift The Person Before You Challenge
at scrapbook.com. This was lifted from Msnickers2...thank
you so much for the inspiration.
For my "think outside the box" title, I used a
combo of stickers and hot glue! Yes, you read right; the "girl" part
of the title is done with hot glue. I dusted it with perfect pearls. The
sticker "pretty cute" is from the Engraver collection by Prima.
The assembly of the layout:The base layer is just solid black cardstock. I splattered Lindy's Stamp Gang. I do not know the color off hand, but it is in the Winter Wonderland set. Let me just say, this is the best white spray I have used to date! In the past I have used "white" sprays on black and as it dries it gets lost in the paper. Well not this one! As you can see it is a lovely white with the right amount of shimmer!
Going off the lift, I used strips of papers going horizontal
and vertically. The papers are Lyric by Prima. I love, love, love this paper!!
I fussy cut the collage from the 6x6 stack. The other pattern papers are also
cut from the collection. For the doily, I used the English Tea from Cheery Lynn
Designs. I added a butterfly (large Martha Stewart) punch out on top. The flower cluster is a mix of Prima and I Am
Roses flowers.
The photo is of one of my daughters. When I bought my camera, I
was playing with the settings and I LOVE this picture of her...she is a pretty
cute girl :)
I hope you enjoyed today's project! Remember to stop by
Practical Scrappers to get more ideas on how to make your titles more fun. Thank
you so much for stopping by! Krafthead~
