Hello Krafters!
Like clockwork my Christmas tree is up by the Sunday
following Thanksgiving! For the last few years I vowed I was going to make a tree
skirt which was going to be an heirloom. I had all of these ideas. Life happened
and that project did not manifest…yet. However, I had some felt and some heat transfer
vinyl (my new favorite) left over and went to work!
The images are from the Silhouette store and they were cut
on the Cameo. After they were cut (blade set at 3) I adhered the vinyl (heat
press, but you can use your iron on the highest setting) and that was that! The
best thing is about this project is that it was made from scraps and it is a
project my family and I can admire for years to come!!!! It looks better in real life!
I hope you all enjoyed today’s project and you will try it
out yourself. Enjoy your holiday season, Krafthead~
Great idea Kenya, I love the idea of starting and maintaining traditions, I think that is missing from soo many families nowadays.
ReplyDeleteHi Tamika!! I agree, traditions are dying. I try to have traditions that the children will remember and hopefully they will continue them when they have families of their own. Thank you so much for the comment, Me~
ReplyDeleteYou are so right Family Traditions are dying sadly
ReplyDeleteLove the Look of the Tree skirt, I will be using the Icons from the New Sheri McCulley Swell Noel Collection from Lettering Delights for my Tree skirt
Hello Friend! Thank you so much for stopping by...can't wait to see your tree skirt! If I don't talk to you before then, have a wonderful Christmas!
DeleteWhat a fun idea, it's so pretty. I'm embarrassed to admit that our "tree skirt" is an old sheet. Ha ha! I hope you're enjoying this holiday season, friend!
